We offer classes and private lessons for students new to ceramics.

Pottery Classes for New Students

Small class size and individual attention make these courses ideal for the student exploring clay for the first time. Choose from a variety of times, dates and techniques. All materials included.

Private Lessons

One-on-One:

Potter’s Wheel - You will make two pots on the wheel. Shape bowls, cups, or flower pots! After the pottery is made a color selection of glazes will be provided for you to choose from.

Pottery will be ready for pickup 3-4 weeks later.

 

All Instruction Includes:

  • Clay, firings, and glaze
  • The service of glazing your work from a choice of 4 dipping glazes

Advanced Glazing and Surface Design

Beginning Sculpture and Handbuilding

I will share hand-building and sculpture techniques I use to make sculptural pieces. This class will also cover glazing and decorating techniques, as well as troubleshooting construction issues. The instructor’s name is Luke Allen. All materials included!
